BOSTON (Gray News) – A couple allegedly having an affair was caught on a kiss cam at a Coldplay concert in a moment that has taken the internet by storm.

It happened at Coldplay’s concert in Boston on Wednesday night.

The video was originally shared on TikTok and has been viewed more than 55 million times.

During one song, fans were shown on the kiss cam, and the camera panned to a couple holding each other, swaying to the music.

The second the couple realized they were on the jumbotron, they quickly broke away from each other and turned their backs to the camera, hiding their faces.

Coldplay front man Chris Martin told the crowd, “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.”

The crowd erupted in cheers and laughter.

Thanks to internet sleuths, the couple has been identified as Andy Byron, CEO of the start-up tech company Astronomer, and his chief human resources officer, Kristin Cabot.

Byron is married to another woman, Megan Kerrigan Byron, while Cabot is reportedly recently divorced, according to Rolling Stone. It’s unclear if she is in another relationship.

In the TikTok video’s comments, users joked that Astronomer employees are going to have an interesting week.

“The tea at work is going to be sooooo good for Astronomer employees … No work will get done at all,” one person commented.

TikTok users also expressed sympathy for Byron’s wife.

“May his future ex-wife’s alimony check be LARGE,” another commenter wrote.

Astronomer released a statement on Friday, writing:

“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability.

The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.

Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video. Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect.”
