Invest 93L is a system that has some organization and is very close to becoming a tropical depression. The system could be back over water in the Gulf on Wednesday, and the formation of a depression or tropical storm Dexter is possible.

The future storm is likely poised to move towards Louisiana and make a landfall Thursday into Friday. Rain continues to be the greatest impact threat but exactly where those heavy rains fall remains a question mark in the forecast. Stay tuned for the latest updates.

Expect a dry day at first Wednesday, before big storms form late afternoon into the evening due to the circulation of the developing storm getting closer. Thursday and Friday will be storm impact days.
